Saturday Mornings in the Classroom

So I went into work, on a Saturday, like a good teacher. I had a list of 2 big things to get done. I had my coffee and water in hand with my Pandora blasting. I got started on something else and neither items on my list were accomplished this morning. Here is a problem I face: I have so much teacher crap and often I find myself feeling the need to purchase MORE! I feel as if most teachers have a little hoarding in them. I for one am a serious tosser, however when push comes to shove I save more than I would like.

This morning here is what I had in mind to get done:

1. Organize this disaster of a desk

1. Set up a puppet show venue in the dramatic play center

Needless to say I did not get these done. However, I did manage to take a three tier filled cart to the dumpster, a trip to drop off materials to the work room and trip to drop off items to Goodwill.

Today Josh and I are headed off to a 5th birthday party for one of my students. No, you are not suppose to have favorite students, but I don't know one teacher who doesn't!
