Instead of doing Elf on the Shelf I decided to have this Gingerbread Man Santa watch over all the boys and girls this week. It went well with my gingerbread theme this year. He left notes that encouraged good behavior, in exchange for exciting fun ahead. This morning he left a note that let the children know he had baked miniature (my kiddos are obsessed with that word right now) gingerbread cookies over the weekend. I love that these little things light them up with excitement! Each of the children had a cookie waiting on their desk as they come, handmade from the Gingerbread Man Santa.
